Reporting Scams

Check suspicious messages and report misuse of Rec & Chill’s name.

Pause and check

Be cautious of urgent demands for money, requests for passwords or verification codes, unexpected attachments, and messages asking you to change payment details. A familiar name or logo does not prove a message is genuine.

Use a contact you already trust to verify a request. Avoid replying to a suspicious message or using its links. Start from this website’s own Contact, donation, or shop links when checking a request.

Report impersonation to Rec & Chill

Email info@recandchill.com with the subject Suspected scam or impersonation. Include the date, the claimed sender, the website address or account name, and a short description. A screenshot can help; cover unrelated private information before sharing it.

Do not send passwords, one-time codes, full card numbers, bank login details, or identity documents. Do not open a suspicious attachment to gather evidence. Keep the original message for any report to the service provider or authorities.

This general inbox is not an emergency service or a fraud-recovery service. A report does not guarantee investigation, recovery of funds, or removal of an account.

Report to the appropriate service

Report impersonation to the platform hosting the account or message. In the United States, you can report fraud to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov. For identity theft, visit IdentityTheft.gov. Outside the United States, contact your local consumer protection or law-enforcement authority.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
